Yesterday’s Fulbrook Plant Sale and Fete was a huge sucess and raised just over £1600 – almost twice the amount of the year before. In beautiful spring sunshine the event was opened by our local Member of Parliament Charlie Maynard who stayed throughout the morning and managed to say hello to almost everyone at the fete! A huge thank to to everyone who came and our grateful thanks to the organiser Elaine Allsop and the wonderful group of stallholders selling everything from plants to books and bric a brac. Special thanks also to our hosts for the event Tom and Siobhan from The Carpenters Arms who generously allowed us to hold the event in their pub garden. Thanks are also due to Hickman Brothers Landscapes for a generous donation of fabulous plants and to David Foster who as usual grew all the plants sold on his popular stall.
