A recent visit to Fulbrook by an engagement officer from OCC Highways Dept revealed that they have a scheme for so called “super users” where trained members of the public can report road faults direct to Highways who promise action within 28 days. It’s an extension of the Fix My Street scheme. Approved “super users” are given training on how to measure and report faults for speedy action. Council chair Malcolm Allsop is the first to go forward on the training scheme next month, He commented: “Once we have checked it out we will seek to expand the scheme more widely in the village to anyone who in interested in taling part.”
