5 Matters Arising
5.1 Westhall Hill Footpath
Clerk received a call from a parishioner to advise that her barn roof which is located right next to
the footpath in Westhall Hill is damaged and may be of some concern for walkers. She had spoken
to WODC and they advised her to speak to her local Parish Council. Footpaths fall under the remit
of OCC who should be able to advice what steps need to be taken.
Clerk to contact the Footpath Consultant at OCC.
6 Reports from County and District Councillors
Fulbrook Parish Council would like to take this opportunity to thank Derek Cotteril for his
dedicated service over the years. His regular attendance at our meetings (come rain, snow or
sunshine!) is an indication of how seriously he took his work and his liaison with us. A very big
thank you from all of us, we shall miss you.
7 Amenities
7.1 Spring Clean Up
The amenities committee has organized the next village clean up, this will take place on Saturday
the 23rd April at 10am to meet at Fulbrook Meeting Place.
This Spring the Amenities Group would welcome help from all in the community who can
spare an hour to clear pathways and verges especially leading to country walks as brambles
and hedgerows are already overgrown.
Gardening gloves and tools such as a spade, brush, secateurs or shears and a wheelbarrow are
always handy to bring with you. Then join friends afterwards at the FMP for a welcome coffee
and home-made cakes, bearing in mind any restrictions that we may have to put in place because
of covid in the village.

7.2 Plant Sale
The next event for the amenities committee is the Plant Sale which will take place on Saturday 14th
May at the new location of The Carpenters Arms.
The Plant Sale raises funds for Fulbrook village, and proceeds are being split between refurbishing
the playground and supporting the village Jubilee celebrations in June.
We have a super raffle at the Plant Sale and I was wondering if any lovely local businesses or
individuals would consider donating a small prize?
Aside from the raffle, we would love donations of bottles for the bottle stalls, plants to boost our
sales tables, and homemade cakes brought along to sell on the day.If anyone feels able to donate a
prize or bottle please see details below to arrange drop off / collection. Please bring plants and
cakes the morning of the event from 9am, direct to The Carpenters Arms.
